Arusha National Park

Day Tour to Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park, situated as the closest national park to Arusha town, the northern hub of Tanzania’s safari adventures, is often underrated despite offering an array of diverse habitats waiting to be explored within a short drive.

The park’s entrance gate leads visitors into a captivating montane forest, where inquisitive blue monkeys and vibrant turacos and trogons reside. It stands as the exclusive location within the northern safari circuit where you can easily spot the agile Black and White Colobus Monkeys. Enveloped within the park’s expanse is the stunning view of Ngurdoto Crater, featuring steep, rocky cliffs that enclose a vast marshy floor dotted with herds of buffaloes and warthogs.

Covering an area of 552 square kilometers (equivalent to 212 square miles), Arusha National Park is located northeast of Arusha city center in northern Tanzania, offering a rich and varied landscape for visitors to explore and appreciate.
